Today at lunch I critiqued two short stories for the Writer's Circle writing group that's meeting tomorrow. I felt pretty blah all day; I'm not sure what's up with that. Perhaps all the fires are just getting me down. Instead of staying late at work, I went home on time (for once) and engaged in some Morrowind role-playing, and that helped alleviate the mood quite a bit. I also slept well for the first time in several nights.
