- Sold a steampunk sonnet to Tales of the Talisman magazine. It appeared in Volume 9, Issue 4 of the magazine in 2014.
- Winner of the “What Makes You Die” poetry contest at Apex Publications (February 2013). My winning poem is no longer posted on their site, but is available on my personal site. The poem is also reprinted on Laura K. Deal’s website, The First Church of Metaphor.
- “Half-Lives of Quiet Desperation” chosen as an Honorable Mention recipient in the Fall 2009 Writers of the Future Contest.
- Sold four poems (“Arianrhod“, “Proposal Sonnet“, “Silent Treatment“, and “Haiku Seasons“) to the Romantic Short Love Stories website (now defunct) for the January 2006 issue. Presented as part of an artist spotlight.
